White Marlin Inn (Formerly Sun Tan Motel)

All I can say is manager your expectations. If you can do that this is a wonderful find. It is clean and the plumbing works. It is a quarter of the price of anywhere else. If you are looking for premium bedding fluffy pillows daily maid service continental breakfast this place is not for you. If you just want to clean place well you're at the beach to sleep it's the best deal you'll get

I paid like 500 for a 4 person room for a week, where there a ton of commodities? no. did we have cable, yes, where the sheets clean, yes. the beads were comfortable, the climate control worked and save some age marks on the tile and such the bathroom was clean. for the price I paid and the location, its worth it, just look at the good not the bad. sure the rooms not huge, but if I'm in ocean city I'm not spending a tone of time in the room anyway, i recommend this place to anyone who's just out to make sure they have a place to sleep for a vacation on a budget.

Price and location make up for the small and stuffy! We only needed a place to sleep, so it was perfect!! Had a dorm fridge but no microwave, and the towels were micro sized, but again, in OC you really only need a place to sleep.

This review is 5 stars because this motel met my expectations. This is a budget or mid-priced motel and everyting we experienced was as advertised. The room was small, but clean. It had a cold air conditioner, hot shower and comfortable bed. The location was great for walking to the beach and boardwalk. Staff was very freindly. Just note there is no ice machine but you can purchase ice at the convenience store across the parking lot. We did not have any issues with items or furnishings being broken as some others have posted.

I haven't been to OC since I was probably 6 and didn't know you couldn't have a puppy on the boardwalk with you. He was two months old so I couldn't just leave him home all day. Boardwalk security told me I had to leave or they would give me a fine. I called a few places, mind you the Blue Angles were there that day and everything was booked up, but these guys were available. I explained my situation and the lady told me unfortunately we don't allow pets but I'll talk to the general manager for you. I was staying the night, only a few hours which made it even more trickier. The gm offered to keep my puppy in his office and he would take care of him for me so I wouldn't have to it a deposit and worry about dirtying a room. I told him this was a very generous offer but I didn't my him to have an accident or bark and bother the customers and staff. He offered me a room at a very discounted rate and refunded my entire deposit when all was said and done. The staff here was amazing. They were so pleasant and friendly, I intend to return here for any and all future stays!

I had arrived at the hotel. Decent size and close to the boardwalk. As I was checking in, I’ve noticed I mistakenly booked a room that wouldn’t fit my family, but customer service was there at its best. I was accommodated and couldn’t be happier. Persistence in customer service here is something hard to find now a days. I’d say this location has treated me better then other hotels/motels nationwide. The room is neat and clean, and a perfect place to rest and relax after hours being outdoors. I will be planning my future stays here. !

The white marlin inn Is one of our absolute favorite homes away from homes not just our vacation spot we recently have moved to ocean city and started completely over with no family or close friends around and our front desk ladies are absolutely phenomenal and have become a secret family in a way they always address us by name they always put us in our go to room on the second floor and we never have to ask ever. They have such amazing and outgoing staff that work on their property, for example our room service lady and our maintenance gentleman also knows us by name and always greet our boys with a smile and love on them . Our room is always clean and smells just like bleach which ( if your a momma you know that smell and love it! Because you know your room has been cleaned ) they have always been so sweet to us and in such a hard time with our family they have never made us feel like less of a human being like other hotels and motels, we’re in walking distance of the beach and the pool attached to the hotel is the perfect size and gated so that no one that’s not a hotel guest can access it , I love this for the simple fact I have to young boys learning how to swim on their own for the first summer and every time we go into the pool it’s always just us or another small family , every guest we cross paths with have always been families or couples and are always super friendly that being said the hotel never has obnoxious noice or to rowdy of a crowd. There’s a deck on the second floor as soon as you open your door you have immediate access to, that our boys love to sit and soak up the sun during the day or even just chill and eat family dinner at night. They always leave us extra towels and wash clothes knowing we’re a family so that we don’t have to bug anyone for more. They always check in to make sure we’re okay and happy. I honestly don’t have one single complaint about anything they have to offer. Even their pricing is amazing for being so close to the beach and board walk. We love our white marlin home and we’ll never change our minds we’ll continue to stay here every time we need a place or HOME to stay !!

STOP This spot is near everything, Room is small no closet. Good Air conditioner. Cold refrigerator. No ICE. It’s CHEAP. It works if you’re spending your time out n about. We read the reviews and brought our own bedding and towels, I recommend you do the same. The TV is WiFi based so don’t plan on watching too much TV since it does cut out sometimes. Best part you can bring your dog. It definitely was what I thought it would be could have been so much worse, definitely safe. Enjoy it because it’s the only thing cheap around except to be spending money out!
